Display: 57.3 FAN ERROR
Description: The intake fan is located in the front, center of the drum drawer. (The drum drawer is referred to as the upper front drawer for end users.) Fan rotation stops when the drawer is opened. A fan error message appears when fan motion is NOT detected by the DC controller’s micro-processor if the drawer is closed and the printer is not in PowerSave mode
Remedy: 1. Turn the printer off and on to reset the printer. Due to the difficulty of observation, listen to hear if the fan is rotating. 2. Verify FM3 connector 27 is not damaged or broken. 3. Verify the fan connector is firmly seated into connector J1022 of the DC controller PCB. 4. If the error persists, replace the fan.

Code: 62
Display: 62 NO SYSTEM
Description: Indicates there is a printer firmware problem. Either there is no firmware DIMM installed or the DIMM has failed. If the formatter was just replaced, make sure all DIMMs have been moved from the old formatter to the new one.
Remedy: 1. Turn the printer off and on to reset the printer. 2. Reseat the firmware DIMM, making sure it is in the slot surrounded by a white line with the text "ROM ONLY IN THIS SLOT".

Display: 62.M BAD MPTR
Description: The firmware ran out of memory trying to build the static entity directory.
Remedy: 1. Check printer settings to determine which values have been changed. 2. Clear the message by pressing [Go].

Code: 62.X
Display: 62.X PRINTER ERROR
Description: Indicates that a problem exists with the internal memory.
X = Description 0 = Internal memory 1-3 = DIMM slots 1 through 3.
Remedy: 1. Turn the printer off and on to reset the printer. 2. Reseat and then replace the DIMM. 3. Replace the formatter board.

Display: 68 NVRAM ERROR CHECK SETTINGS
Description: One or more settings saved in the non-volatile storage device are invalid. Some settings might have been reset to factory defaults.
Remedy: 1. Check printer settings to determine which values have been changed. 2. Clear the message by pressing [Go].

Description: Indicates that a non-volatile storage device is full. Some settings might have been reset to factory defaults.
Remedy: 1. Check printer settings to determine which values have been changed. 2. Clear the message by pressing [Go].

Display: 79 SERVICE (XXXX) PRINTER ERROR
Description: A hardware error has occurred.
X=Description 01XX = IO ASIC register error 02XX = video ASIC register error 03XX = IDE ASIC register error
Remedy: 1. Reseat the formatter. 2. Reseat the firmware DIMM. 3. Run formatter diagnostics. 4. Replace the firmware DIMM. 5. Replace the formatter.

Code: 80
Display: 80 SERVICE (XXXX) EIO ERROR
Description: A critical EIO failure has occurred. X indicates the slot number of the device. XXXX indicates the error type.
Remedy: 1. Turn the printer off and on to reset the printer. 2. Reseat the EIO card. 3. Replace the EIO card.
