  • Description: Time out error by the tray 1 foreign matter detection (Finisher-X1)
  • Causes: The tray 1 does not return to home position when the Tray 1 Shift Motor has been driven for 20 seconds at the down start of the tray 1. The tray 1 does not come off the Tray 1 Area Sensor at the same area when the Tray 1 Shift Motor has been driven for 4 seconds at the down start of tray 1.
  • Remedy: [Related parts] - Harnesses from the Tray 1 Area Sensors (S122/S123/S124) to the Finisher Controller PCB - Harnesses from the Tray 1 Shift Motor (M105) to the Finisher Controller PCB - Tray 1 Area Sensors (S122/S123/S124) - Tray 1 Shift Motor (M105) - Finisher Controller PCB (PBA101) [Remedy] - If there is the foreign matter under the tray 1, remove it. - Check/replace the related harness/cable, connector and parts.   • Causes: The tray 1 detects the discontinuous area with the Tray 1 Area Sensors in the down movement of the tray 1.
