• Description: HDD: Read error
  The data written to the HDD cannot be read normally, due to bad sectors generated during operation. Note: -01 to -23 indicate the type of partition where the error occurred. Enable display of these numbers with SP7902.
• Causes: HDD defective Note: If the bad sectors are generated at the image partition, the bad sector information is written to NVRAM, and the next time the HDD is accessed, these bad sectors will not be accessed for read/write operation
• Remedy: 1. Turn the main power switch off and on. 2. Replace the HDD.

• Code: 864
• Description: HDD: CRC error
  During HDD operation, the HDD cannot respond to a CRC error query. Data transfer does not execute normally while data is being written to the HDD. Note: -01 to -23 indicate the type of partition where the error occurred. Enable display of these numbers with SP7902.
• Causes: HDD defective
• Remedy: 1. Turn the main power switch off and on. 2. Replace the HDD.

• Code: 865
• Description: HDD: Access error
  HDD responded to an error during operation for a condition other than those for SC863, 864. Note: -01 to -23 indicate the type of partition where the error occurred. Enable display of these numbers with SP7902.
• Causes: Defective HDD
• Remedy: 1. Turn the main power switch off and on. 2. Replace the HDD.

• Code: 866
• Description: SD card error: Confirmation
  The machine detects an electronic license error in the application on the SD card in the controller slot immediately after the machine is turned on. The program on the SD card contains electronic confirmation license data. If the program does not contain this license data, or if the result of the check shows that the license data in the program on the SD card is incorrect, then the checked program cannot execute and this SC is displayed.
• Causes: Program missing from the SD card
• Remedy: 1. Download the correct program for the machine to the SD card.

• Code: 867
• Description: SD card error: SD card removed
  The SD card is ejected from the slot while the machine is on.
• Causes:
• Remedy: 1. Insert the SD card, then turn the machine off and on.

• Code: 868
• Description: SD card error: SD card access -13 to -3: File system error Other number: Device error
• Causes: SD card not inserted correctly. SD card defective. Controller board defective.
• Remedy: For a file system error: 1. Format the SD card on your PC. For a device error: 1. Turn off the main power switch and check if the contact with the SD card slot and SD card is normal. 2. If the contact is normal, insert the SD card into the slot and turn on the main power switch to check if the error occurs again. 3. If the error occurs again, replace the SD card with an SD card for another user, and turn on the main power switch. 4. If the error occurs again and again, replace the controller board.

• Code: 870
• Description: Address book error
  The address book data cannot be read from the HDD, SD card or flash ROM on the controller where it is stored, or the data read from the media is defective.
• Causes: Defective software program. Defective HDD
• Remedy: Software defective: 1. Turn the machine off and on. 2. If the step 1 is not the solution for the problem, replace the controller firmware. HDD defective: 1. Do SP5846-046 (Initialize All Setting & Addr Book) to reset all address book data. 2. Reset the user information with SP5832-006 (HDD Formatting– User Information). 3. Replace the HDD.

• Code: 872
• Description: HDD mail receive data error
  The machine detects that the HDD is not operating correctly (can neither read nor write) at power on or while processing incoming email.
• Causes: HDD defective. Power failure during an access to the HDD
• Remedy: 1. Do SP5832-008 to format the mail RX data on the HDD. 2. Replace the HDD.
