• Description: Secure File Erasing Error
• Remedy: The printer detected a secure-file erasure error. Erase contents of HDD completely by using the disk erase function (HDD ERASE).

• Code: 251
• Display: Service Call 251: Error
• Description: Secure Disk Erasing Error
• Remedy: The printer detected an error during data erasure on its HDD. Turn off and on the printer. If this does not work, replace the HDD.

• Code: 400
• Display: Service Call 400: Error
• Description: Check Paper Print Interrupted %TRAY% Incorrectly sized paper has been used.
• Remedy: 1) Check that the correct paper size is set 2) Open and close the side cover of Tray 1. Proceed with the following when a tray other than the MPTray is indicated as the source of the error. Pull out the indicated tray. 3) Check that the paper guide plate and the paper stopper are in the correct position respectively. Remove paper from the tray and separate each sheet before returning to the tray. 4) Place the tray back in the printer. Notifies that paper of inappropriate size was supplied from a tray. Check the paper in the tray or check to see if multi-feed occurred. The printer performs Recovery Print when the cover is opened/closed and recovers from the error state.

• Display: Service Call 501: Error
• Description: Press ONLINE Button for Restorative Page Overrun The paper was cut and ejected due to page overrun.
• Remedy: 1) Press ONLINE Button 2) Change the condition and print again. Page Overrun. Printing Fails. Printing stops and paper is cut without a wait for print completion and then ejected. Operation resumes when the ONLINE SW is pressed.

• Code: 502
• Display: Service Call 502: Error
• Description: User Operation is required to reprint or cancel.
• Remedy: 1) Press ONLINE button to reprint. 2) Press CANCEL button to cancel. Requests retry. Upon recovery from error, the printer prompts the user to select Retry or Cancel. If the user chooses Retry, the paper has to be readied.

• Code: 503
• Display: Service Call 503: Error
• Description: Check Attached Feeder. Feeder Error Feeder Unit error was detected.
• Remedy: 1) Turn off Printer 2) Check the feeder unit. Feeder Error. Notified of this error from the feeder, the printer displays it.

• Code: 910 ... 914
• Display: Power Off/on 910: Error to 914: Error
• Description: GDDC Error 910:Tray1 GDDC Error 911:Tray2 GDDC Error 912:Tray3 GDDC Error 913:Tray4 GDDC Error 914:Tray3 GDDC Error
• Remedy: Check to confirm that the tray is mounted correctly. Replace the geared motor of the tray.

• Code: 917
• Display: Power Off/on 917: Error
• Description: Belt Slit Sensor Error
• Remedy: The belt is not running properly. Does terror message still appear after rebooting? Yes Check to confirm that the belt is mounted correctly. Replace the belt.
